Trea Tijmens, owner and founder of SuccessMatch
Trea was born in the Netherlands on 12 February 1965. She left her native country over 30 years ago and has since lived in the United States, Belgium, Spain and Germany. She came to Switzerland in 2000 and currently lives between Panama and Switzerland.Trea obtained a Bachelor of Art degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley in 1992 and a Master of Arts in International Relations from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 1994. She is fluent in English, French, German and Dutch.
A Human Resources professional who has gained her experience in diverse sectors such as fast moving consumergoods, computer products distribution, banking and Search and Recruitment, Trea's passion is human relations.Trea is married to a French man whom she met while in the US, and mother of 3 teenagers. Her hobbies are dancing, reading, cycling, traveling, a bit of gardening and watching her kids play field hockey.
Eeke van de Ven, Matchmaker
Eeke is Dutch and came to Switzerland a few years ago. She obtained her degree in Applied Psychology in Belgium and after having gained professional experience in diverse sectors, she joined SuccessMatch. In 2016 Eeke was promoted to be the SuccessMatch matchmakers for all of Switzerland. She speaks fluent English and Dutch and is working on improving her French.
In her free time Eeke loves to play field hockey at Servette HC. Eeke also enjoys other sports such as skiing and snowboarding. She's passionate about traveling to new exciting places, meeting new people and experiencing new adventures. She also loves to cook, bake and socialize with friends.
Kate Lacey, Coordinator
Kate grew up in England and holds a BA in French and Hispanic Studies from the University of Birmingham.
She loves connecting people and her professional experience in the hospitality industry as well as her international background makes SuccessMatch a natural home for her.
Kate was instilled with a desire to travel from a young age. During her studies she spent a year abroad in Cadiz, Spain, and a summer in Tours, France, and following her graduation she did a ski season in Val-d’Isère. She then worked for 4 years in a luxury safari lodge in the South Luangwa National Park, Zambia. Kate is married and has a young daughter.
In her free time, Kate enjoys reading, baking and staying active. She loves to explore new places and meet new people. She’s always up for challenges and is committed to being a “lifelong learner”!
