The Number One Mistake Single Professional Women Make on a First Date
As a successful matchmaker and dating coach I speak to thousands of single women and find that the one mistake they make on a first date is that they are not aware of what they are doing wrong.
But take heart – this can easily be remedied!
Ok, so you are a smart, strong and successful professional woman. You know how to dress, you look great, you are interesting, you are fun, all your friends tell you that you are a great catch. First dates should be a piece of cake, and yet they are not!
First dates are soooo important because in order for your date to get to know the real you and to like you for who you are, he needs to find out who you are and he can only do so if he asks you for a second date or more.
A First date can be a potential minefield;
Perhaps you are putting too much pressure on yourself and your date?
Perhaps you are opening up too soon?
Perhaps you had previous disappointing dates and find it hard to be enthusiastic about dating?
Perhaps your date is clueless and you fell in one of his dating traps?
Perhaps you are avoiding "awkward silences" by talking incessantly?
Perhaps you are screening for perfection vs. potential?
Perhaps you are worried about how to end the date (handshake, kiss, sex)?
Perhaps you are not sure what you should do after the date (call / text / email him or wait?)
Simply being aware of all these questions and being attune to how you can avoid or resolve them will make all the difference.
